JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 2026

Eligibility Criteria:
- This fellowship is intended for candidates who have completed their doctorates within the last six years and have professional and/or research experience.
- Candidates must either have a PhD (obtained on or after April 2, 2018) or be scheduled to obtain one before the fellowship begins.
- Both native Japanese people and those with permanent residence in Japan are not eligible.
- Applicants are not eligible if they have already been awarded a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan Standard or Pathway Fellowship.
- The proposed study must be pertinent to policy, and the research agenda must address gender issues:
