Danish government scholarships for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in subjects offered by partner universities will be available to highly qualified non-EU/EEA students in 2025. Your application must be submitted by August 31, 2025. The Danish government is offering this scholarship, which has a variable partial financing amount. This scholarship is available to all nationals, excluding those in the EU and EEA. A restricted number of government scholarships are awarded to Danish institutions annually to assist highly qualified full-degree students from Switzerland and non-EU/EEA nations.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be citizens of a country that is not a member of Switzerland, the European Union, or the European Economic Area.

  • The candidate needs to be granted a temporary residence visa in Denmark due to their education.
  • If an applicant is applying to a higher education institution that specializes in the arts, they are not eligible.
  • Applicants who are already eligible for a grant under Danish law pertaining to the State Education Fund are not eligible for the scholarship.

The worth of the scholarship:

  • Selected candidates can benefit from the following:
  • tuition fee waivers, either in full or in part,
  • grants for living expenses (optional).
