Eligibility Criteria:
Applications for new PhD students are being welcomed starting in September 2025 (both domestic and foreign fee status). This is true for full-time and part-time study options, as well as for PhD programs offered both on-campus and virtually.
Benefits:
- For three years of full-time study or six years of part-time study, the scholarship covers all tuition costs. The yearly stipend is set at the UKRI level for 2025–2026 (£19,237 for full-time students, pro rata for part-time).

Selection criteria:

- Plans for impact, public participation, and information sharing—including diffusion outside of academia—should be well-defined and comprehensive.
- Fit between the student, project, and research environment, including cross-HEI supervision when there is a clear advantage to the student or research project
