The University of Groningen is offering the Eric Bleumink Fund to select nationals pursuing a master’s degree program at the university.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants should have received provisional or unconditional admission for a master’s program before February.
  • Applicants must have excellent academic performance, preferably to be confirmed by letters of recommendation.
  • Applicants must have had excellent grades during their bachelor/undergraduate studies.
  • Applicants must have excellent English language proficiency.
  • Applicants must take part in the entire program.
  • Applicants must be in good health.
  • Applicants must not have other means of financing the study.

Application Process:

  • Applicants who have received a provisional or unconditional admission offer for a master’s program before February can only be considered.
  • The eligible candidates will be nominated by the university Admission Office in consultation with the Admission Boards of its faculties.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • The selected candidates are awarded grants for a one-year or two-year Master’s degree program.
  • The grant covers:
    • Tuition fees,
    • Costs of international travel,
    • Subsistence,
    • Books,
    • Health insurance.
