ETH Zurich’s 2025 Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Program
Master’s degrees in every course offered by the institution are eligible for the ETH Zurich 2025 Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Program. You have until November 30, 2025, to submit your application. This fellowship is offered by ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and is fully funded, including living expenses. This scholarship is available to all citizens.

Eligibility Criteria:
- In the bachelor’s degree program, candidates must perform extraordinarily well (top 10% equals grade A).
- The selection process may include a phone or virtual interview, so candidates should make sure they can be reached at the number in their resume.
Benefis:
The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP includes a tuition fee waiver in addition to a scholarship that covers living and study expenses (CHF 12,000 per semester).
Materials for application:
- In addition to the resources needed for admission, candidates must file a pre-proposal for their master’s thesis.
- Plagiarism and careless or deliberate false information will result in rejection from the admissions process or, in the event that it is later found, the revocation of both the scholarship and admission.
- The master’s thesis pre-proposal must be created independently and adhere to accepted scientific citation guidelines.
