EUI Leaders Fellowship for 2026
Applications for the EUI Leaders Fellowship 2026 in Italy are now being accepted. The EUI Policy Leader Fellowship (PLF) is a fully financed five- to ten-month leadership program offered by the European University Institute (EUI). This Leadership Program encourages applicants from a wide range of policy sectors, including politics, the civil service, the media, non-governmental organizations, and others, in an effort to attract individuals with a variety of real-world policy-making experiences. Every year, the program selects between twenty and twenty-five people from all across the world. All expenses will be covered by the EUI Leaders Fellowship, and candidates are not need to submit documentation of their English test scores.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The EUI Leadership Program is open to all Italian citizens. Being a citizen of the EU is not required.
- A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required. A Ph.D. is not required.
- There is no suggested age or cutoff.
- Candidates should be mid-career professionals with at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Preference will be given to applicants whose work addresses pressing policy concerns related to the STG’s core areas.
Benefits:
- Fellows get a monthly stipend of €2,500 to assist with living expenses.
- Travel expenses, including first-class rail and economy-class aircraft, are covered by a total of €1,200 for fellows.
- A €300 monthly allowance is provided to assist with additional household expenses.
- An additional €200 is given to each dependent child each month.
