Fellowship for International Incoming OAW 2025
For research fellows or scientists pursuing degrees in any of the university’s research specialties, the OAW International Incoming Fellowship 2025 is available. Your application must be submitted before October 10, 2025. The Austrian Academy of Sciences is offering this scholarship, which has a partial funding value of up to EUR 2,700 a month. All citizens, with the exception of Austrians, are eligible to apply for this award.
A succinct description:
Since 2016, fellowships have been offered by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). As a result, when preparing applications for Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowships or an ERC Starting or Consolidator Grant, highly qualified scientists who plan to submit a proposal to the OeAW get to know their future host institution and the services offered by the OeAW.

Eligibility Criteria:
Yoke-qualified scientists in all fields who fit the criteria for applying for an ERC Starting Grant, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, or an ERC Consolidator Grant are encouraged to apply. They must plan to use one of these funding options and locate their research project at the OeAW.

Benefits:
Up to EUR 8,100 in accommodation expenses per fellow (maximum EUR 2,700 per month for a maximum of three months) and one-time reimbursement for outbound and return travel expenses are provided by the HORIZON Incoming Fellowship.
