The Forrest Research Foundation Scholarships 2025 are offered for PhD studies in any of the university’s academic fields. Your application must be submitted before October 31, 2025. The Forrest Research Foundation provides this fellowship, which includes lodging, a stipend for research training, partial funding, and other benefits. Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have applied to enroll in a PhD program as an internal student based at one of the five designated Western Australian universities.
- A bachelor’s degree with first-class honors or its equivalent is required of the applicant.
- Candidates’ undergraduate and/or graduate degrees must have a GPA of at least 3.95.
- The suggested doctoral research of the applicant should be intriguing and novel.
- The applicant must plan to live at Forrest Hall.
- By the scholarship’s start date, the applicant must be able to enroll full-time at a university in Western Australia.
Benefits:
- The annual stipend for a research training program is between $34,315 and $37,500.
- A maximum accommodation allowance of AUD 25,116.
- A travel allowance of up to AUD 12,000 for relocation and research.
- Additionally, Australian Government International Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset Scholarships or comparable university international fee scholarships will be awarded to international Forrest Scholars. These scholarships will cover all international tuition costs and health insurance for international students.
- The Australian Government will award Domestic Forrest Scholars with a Domestic Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset fellowship, which exempts them from paying tuition for the term of the fellowship.
