Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates shouldn’t have spent more than 15 months living in Germany.
- Candidates with backgrounds in dance, performance studies, choreography, or musicals should speak at least rudimentary German.
- The program is available to applicants from throughout the world.
- The candidate’s most recent degree shouldn’t be older than six years. Additionally, candidates are expected to speak English well.
- Candidates with a strong command of German are expected if they are from the drama and direction sectors.
- The candidates had to have been enrolled in a postgraduate or master’s degree program.

- A unique DAAD committee chooses the applicants. German university professors are on the committee.
