Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-26

• Eligibility The Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-26 is open to female students from developing countries where access to tertiary education is limited.
• To be eligible, applicants must have received an unconditional offer for a full-time, taught master’s programme at Durham University by June 2025.
• Applicants must also not be in receipt of any other scholarship funding, and they must not have a Master’s degree or sufficient financial means to pursue postgraduate study in the UK.

Benefits/Value

• The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship covers a range of expenses to support the recipient during their studies.
• It provides full payment of university tuition fees, a stipend for living expenses, accommodation at Hatfield College (either fully catered or self-catered), and a return economy air ticket from the home country to the UK. In addition, the scholarship includes a “settling in allowance,” as well as the cost of a UK visa and health surcharge.
• This scholarship is specifically designed to support women who may not otherwise have the financial means to study in the UK.

Application Process

• The application process for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship involves two stages. In Stage 1, applicants must apply to Durham University for their chosen master’s programme and mention their intention to apply for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship.
• Once they receive an offer from Durham, they must proceed to Stage 2 and submit their scholarship application to Hatfield College by the deadline on March 31, 2025.
• Required documents include the Durham University offer letter, academic transcript, references, and an IELTS certificate.
• Applicants will be notified of the scholarship outcome by mid-June 2025.
