Kazakhstan Scholarship for International Students in 2026
Applications for the Kazakhstan Scholarship for International Students from Afghanistan and Other Countries will be accepted from late March to late May 2026, according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Applications for full-time bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs are open to international students. This scholarship, which covers tuition and a monthly stipend for chosen applicants, is offered to overseas students by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RK.

Eligibility Criteria:
- have any nationality from any country in the world.
- are people of Kazakh heritage who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Evidence that a secondary education is “good” for a program leading to an undergraduate degree
- A bachelor’s degree or a specialty with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in previous courses is required for admission to a master’s program.
- A master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in previous courses is necessary for admission to a Ph.D. program.
- International accreditation for master’s and doctorate programs attesting to proficiency in a foreign language
