In 2013, Dean Kathryn Bond Stockton established the Marilyn and Edward Stockton Endow Scholarship in the College of Humanities using funds from the University’s Rosenblatt Prize. The funds, which bear her parents’ names, are designated to assist students who are deeply interested in the complex intersections of race, sexuality, gender, (dis)ability, religion, and class. Now located at Transform, the prize was previously at the College of Humanities. It is the school’s first endowed scholarship.
Eligibility for Marilyn and Edward Stockton Endowed Scholarship at the University of Utah:
- Applicants may come from any nationality.
- Applicants pursuing degrees within Transform are eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
- Applicants who are First-generation students are given first consideration.
- Applicants exhibiting high academic standards are preferred.
- Applicants pursuing a double major or minor in the College of Humanities will receive special consideration.
