Undergraduate students worldwide can apply for the 2025 class of the Millennium Fellowship. A special semester-long leadership development program, the UN Academic Impact (UNAI) and Millennium Campus Network (MCN) Millennium Fellowship seeks to enhance participants’ leadership abilities.
The purpose of this opportunity is to assist undergraduate applicants in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Thus, this true and exciting leadership program is open to all young and inspiring leaders above the age of 18. Be a part of the 2025 class!

- Gather: On campus, challenge one another to gain knowledge from one another.
- The challenge is to plan and execute their session together, share best practices, think broadly, establish a campus-wide sustainability group, and more.

- To have a social influence after the program, go to the MCN Alumni Community.
Eligibilities:
- The candidate must be older than eighteen.
- For the duration of the program, be enrolled as undergraduates at a college or university.
- must exhibit a strong academic foundation for the duration of the course.
- Make a commitment to participating fully in the program.
- During the Millennium Fellowship, make a commitment to meet in person with their Campus Directors and fellow Fellows at least eight times.
- Candidates need to speak English fluently.
Selection Standards
- Frequency: Using their fellowship curriculum vitae, all fellows will engage in community building and capacity building.
- Buy-in: The president or vice-chancellor of the university will support the Millennium Fellows in pursuing their goals and implementing their projects.
- If the fellows carry out the project off campus, community members will be involved in their leadership and development.
- Impact Applicants must effectively manage their initiatives and communicate their experiences to MCN and UNAI in order to advance the SDGs and UNAI ideals.
- Continuity: Fellows with campus directors follow to meet beyond the program regularly and must commit to building out a robust campus hub.
