Students studying bachelor’s and master’s degrees in any of the University of Twente’s programs are eligible to apply for the 2025 NL Scholarship. Applying for this scholarship is possible here. Your application must be submitted by August 20, 2025. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science is offering this scholarship, which has a partial financing value of EUR 2,500.
All nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship, except for those from EEA nations. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science offers the University of Twente Holland Scholarship to students who want to enroll in the University of Twente’s bachelor’s or master’s degree programs. The scholarship is awarded to assist with study-related expenses during the first year of study.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must have applied for a course starting in the academic year 2024–2025.
- The candidate must be a full-time student at the university.
- The NL/Holland Scholarship cannot have been given to the applicant before.
- In addition to completing a minimum of 10 ECTS and an internship or graduation project lasting at least seven weeks but no more than fifty-two weeks, the applicant must use the scholarship only for academic purposes.
- The applicant is not eligible for any scholarships other than the NL scholarship.
- The applicant is not allowed to study, intern, or finish an assignment in a country that has been classified as dangerous by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The worth of the scholarship:
- The selected candidates get EUR 2,500 in total.
