Scholarships at Science@Leuven 2026 for Foreign Students
Master’s degrees in the university’s selected subjects are eligible for the 2026 Science@Leuven Scholarships for International Students. The deadline for submitting your application is February 15, 2026. KU Leuven offers this scholarship, which has a partial financing value of up to 12,000 euros per year. This scholarship is available to all citizens, excluding those from Belgium. Talented and motivated international students who wish to participate in an international master’s program at the K.U.Leuven Faculty of Science can apply for the Science@Leuven Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidates are expected to graduate with at least a distinction from KU Leuven.
- The candidates must not have previously worked or studied at the university.
- The candidates must be enrolled in the university’s chosen programs.
- The candidates must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from a university outside of Belgium.
- The candidates need to demonstrate a solid command of English.

- A minimum score of 94 on the online TOEFL requires at least 19 points in reading, 18 in listening, 19 in speaking, and 21 in writing.
- 6.5 in reading, 6 in speaking, 6 in listening, and 6 in writing, with a minimum overall score of 7 on the IELTS
- Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from scholars who are internationally renowned.
- Candidates need to be ready to represent the program as ambassadors.
Benefits:
The annual maximum value of the scholarship is EUR 12,000.00.
The scholarship offers an installation stipend at the beginning of the school year, with the remaining funds being distributed as a monthly allowance.
