Eligibility Criteria for Sir William Hartley Scholarship at the University of Canterbury:
- Applicants must be identified as female.
- Applicants must either:
- Have graduated with a degree from the University of Canterbury; or
- Be completing a program for a degree that would qualify them, in the year of application for the scholarship, to graduate from the University of Canterbury.
Selection Criteria for Sir William Hartley Scholarship at the University of Canterbury:
- Academic achievement
- Likelihood of success in chosen research
- Preference is given to those who will be studying at the University of Cambridge, the University of London, or the University of Oxford.
Value of Sir William Hartley Scholarship at University of Canterbury:
Financial aid of NZ$20,000 annually will be given to selected applicants.
