Concerning the scholarship:

Every year, a gifted student who aspires to utilize design principles and techniques to better organizations and/or businesses and to increase their contribution to the economy, society, and human lives is supported by the Michael Treschow Scholarship. Contributions can be made in a variety of areas, including business, society, and general social issues.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The Michael Treschow scholarship requires applicants to have earned a bachelor’s degree or have a comparable degree in design.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a master’s program.
  • Applicants for the Michael Treschow scholarship must have completed a bachelor’s degree program in Sweden or plan to do so.
  • Candidates must exhibit social responsibility and sustainability.

Required documents:

  • a digital portfolio with your best four pieces included.
  • Resume
  • A motivation letter that explains how the course you are enrolled in or intend to enroll in connects to design thinking, why you are asking for the scholarship, and how you intend to apply your design experience to lead others, innovate, and make a difference.
