The 2025 University of Queensland International Onshore Merit Scholarship
Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in all subjects offered by the University of Queensland are eligible for the 2025 International Onshore Merit Scholarship. The deadline for submitting your application is December 20, 2025. This scholarship, which is valued up to AUD 10,000 and exclusively pays for tuition, is being offered by the University of Queensland (UQ). This scholarship is available to all citizens, save those from Australia and New Zealand. This award, which aims to recognize and reward academic success, is intended for international students who have previously studied in Australia and are beginning a qualifying program at The University of Queensland (UQ) in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:
- possess an unconditional offer or have met the terms of a conditional offer.
- Become fluent in English and meet all other requirements for program entrance.
- be foreign students.
- have submitted an application to enroll full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at UQ in 2026.
- have completed an Australian qualification that is required for enrollment in the UQ program of their choice.
- Applicants are prohibited from:
- have received any further tuition price reductions, refunds, or scholarships from UQ.
- have a scholarship or full sponsorship from another organization (partial funding may still be considered).
- have obtained a competitive academic score among applicants starting in the same semester, as decided by UQ.
