The 2026–2027 Belgium Master Mind Scholarship for a Master’s degree
The Master Mind Scholarship allows worthy overseas students to pursue master’s degrees in Brussels or Flanders. It is awarded by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training. It provides a scholarship of roughly €10,000 per year together with a tuition price remission.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must submit an application for a Master’s program at a Flemish university.
- The previous degree must have been granted by an institution of higher learning outside of Flanders.
- Students currently enrolled at Flemish higher education institutions are not eligible, with the exception of a few special preparatory programs.
- Academic distinction: a minimum GPA of 3.5 or 4.0, for instance.
- English language proficiency, as determined by the TOEFL 94 and IELTS 7.0, in cases when English is not the native tongue.
- It is not possible to combine this prize with another Flemish government scholarship or an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
Benefits:
- a scholarship valued at about €10,000 annually.
- Waiver of all or nearly all tuition fees (students only pay a small administrative fee, such as approximately €136.50).
- For sixty ECTS in a year Master’s: a scholarship for one year. For a two-year Master’s program, up to two years (120 ECTS).
- The reward is intended to help with living expenses, housing, insurance, etc., while travel expenses may not be paid.
