The KU Global Leader Scholarship in 2025
Students enrolled in one of the university’s bachelor’s degree programs are eligible to apply for the KU Global Leader Scholarship 2025. The deadline for submitting your application is January 30, 2026. This scholarship, which has a maximum partial financing of KRW 1,600,000, is offered by Korea University. This grant is available to international students.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic IELTS scores of 7.0 or higher, TOPIK level 6, new TEPS scores of 386 or higher, or TOEFL (iBT) scores of 90 or higher (My Best Score accepted).
- Candidates from other countries are invited.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0 (out of 4.5), 3.83 (out of 4.3), 3.57 (out of 4.0), or 90 (out of 100) from the previous school
- The TOEFL Home Edition and the IELTS Home Test (Indicator) are not authorized.
- accepted by the KU Graduate School Dean after being suggested by the department.
- This scholarship cannot be given to students concurrently with other scholarships, such as the Foundation Scholarship or the Global Korea Scholarship.
- The review of scholarship awards and admissions will be carried out automatically and concurrently. For recommendations, you don’t have to get in touch with the department directly.
Benefits:
- The travel scholarship falls between KRW 100,000 to KRW 1,500,000 for the first semester.
- The first semester scholarship ranges from KRW 100,000 to KRW 1,600,000.
- Merit Scholarship: KRW 1,200,000 for the second semester, given in accordance with Korea University’s first semester academic merit.
