The Netherlands’ 2026 International Scholarship Program
Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in any subject offered by the universities are eligible for the 2026 NL Scholarship for International Students in the Netherlands. The deadline for submitting your application is March 10, 2026. This scholarship, which is being offered by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, has a EUR 5,000 partial financing value for the first year of study. The scholarship awardees are not citizens of the EEA.

Eligibility Criteria:
- not hold a European Economic Area (EEA) citizenship.
- be putting in an application for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree at a participating Dutch university.
- meet specific requirements for admission established by the chosen university (see the university’s official website).
- not hold a degree from a Dutch academic institution.
Benefits:
Only awarded during the first year of study, the NL Scholarship grants a one-time payment of €5,000 and is not full-tuition.
