Eligibility Criteria:
- For the applicant to finish SACE Stage 2, SACE Stage 1 must be started in 2023.
- The candidate needs to be enrolled in a public school.
- The applicant must have a valid school card, although this is not necessary for students who are Aboriginal.
- A C in math and science from year 10 is a minimal requirement for the applicant to show interest in STEM disciplines.
- The candidate must plan to pursue at least one of the following SACE Stage 2 subjects: physics, chemistry, or mathematics (methods or specialist).
- Participation in a mentoring program that takes place somewhere other than the student’s school is a requirement for the application.
- The candidate must agree to participate in a teacher-mentor induction for the STEM scholarship.
