The JCMM Project Scholarship for International Students to Study in the Czech Republic in 2025
International students seeking master’s and doctoral degrees in technical and scientific areas are eligible to apply for the 2025 JCMM Project Scholarship. You have until September 30, 2025, to submit your application. This scholarship, valued at CZK 7,000 per month and regarded as partial support, is being offered by the South Moravian Center for International Mobility (JCMM). This scholarship is available to non-EU nationals.

International students from non-EU third countries pursuing Ph.D. or follow-up master’s degrees at our partner universities, with an emphasis on natural science and technology, are eligible for JCMM scholarships. The strategy also includes Czech Centers at our partner foreign universities.In short:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applications are open to international students from third-world non-EU nations participating in follow-up master’s or doctoral programs at partner universities in Brno, Czech Republic.
- Except for language and preparation courses or short-term study exchange programs, applicants should not have previously attended any Czech institutions or secondary schools. Those who have spent at least six months in the Czech Republic or who have previously studied there are ineligible to apply.
Selection standards:
- Programs that focus on the natural sciences and technology are recommended.
- A solid command of the Czech language is necessary for follow-up master’s degrees, while the prerequisites for Ph.D. programs vary depending on the faculty.
