Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program 2023-2024, HKUST is one of the few Asian universities chosen by the Bai Xian Asia Institute (BXAI) as a Partner University to offer the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program

Eligibility for the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program 2023-2024 :

• The applicant should be a non-local student from East, Southeast, and South Asia.
• The candidate should have completed a bachelor’s degree.
• The academic performance and research ability should be outstanding.
• Proficiency in English should be good.
• The applicants should be enthusiastic about cross-cultural studies in Asia.
• Following are the master’s programs eligible for this scholarship :
  • Any MPhil program, or
  • A specific MA, MPM, MPP, and MSc program.
• Applicants should have an Appreciation of BXAI’s mission and vision, Compassion and service experience and leadership potential to apply for this scholarship.

Value of the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program 2023-2024 :

This scholarship offers :

• Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
  • Scholarship of HK$252,000 (US$32,411) per year
  • Tenable for 2 years, subject to renewable conditions.
• Master of Arts (MA)/ Master of Public Management (MPM)/ Master of Science (MSc)
• • Full tuition and HK$97,188 (US$12,500) for 1-year program OR
  • Full tuition and HK$145,782 (US$18,750) for a 1.5-year program.
• Master of Public Policy (MPP)
• • Full tuition and HK$97,188 (US$12,500) per year
  • Tenable for 2 years, subject to renewable conditions.
