As a female student, are you interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Europe? Applications for Austria’s Helmut Veith Scholarship 2025–2026 are now being accepted. The VCLA is looking for outstanding and motivated female master’s students for the Helmut Veith Stipend; male students are not eligible. Students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in one of TU Wien’s recognized computer science programs taught in English during the forthcoming winter semesters of 2025–2026; summer semester of 2026; and winter semester of 2026–2027 are eligible to apply for this international fellowship.

The Helmut Veith Scholarship 2025–2026, given annually to female students at TU Wien in Austria, is an amazing opportunity. Applications are encouraged from students who have a strong background in mathematics and technology in at least one of the fields in which Austrian scientist Helmut Veith worked. The Helmut Veith Stipend Prize honors the outstanding computer scientist Helmut Veith, who lived from 1971 to 2016. By encouraging women to pursue computer science education, the Helmut Veith Scholarship seeks to empower women in the technology industry. In addition to supporting female students who are enthusiastic in computer science research, this European fellowship program advocates for gender equality.

Eligibility:

Only female students are eligible.
To enroll in one of TU Wien’s master’s programs in computer science offered in English in 2025–2026, candidates must meet certain requirements.
Master’s degrees in computer engineering, media and human-centered computing, business informatics, data science, logic and computation, and software engineering and the internet All students must have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a similar discipline.
The following Helmut Veith study areas should pique their interest in addition to having a solid foundation in mathematics and technology: Computer Security, Formal Methods and Verification, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms and Complexity Theory, or Logic in Computer Science.
They must be fluent in English. Among the programs that qualify are those in computing.
