The Faculty of Arts at the University of Ottawa is offering the Dean’s Merit Scholarship to eligible applicants who must be enrolled full-time, and for the first time, in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Arts.
Eligibility criteria for the Faculty of Arts Dean’s Merit Scholarship:
- Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time, and for the first time, in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Arts.
- Applicants must have a minimum admission average of 90%.
This scholarship cannot be combined with the President’s Scholarship or the Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students.
Value of the Scholarship:
Successful Faculty of Arts Dean’s Merit Scholarship applicants will receive a scholarship value of $4,000 ($1,000 per year).
Renewal of the scholarship:
This scholarship can be renewed for the three following years provided the student has a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 9.00 or higher at the end of a term (with at least 24 units) and is enrolled full-time at the Faculty of Arts.
