Current students seeking an institutional nomination for a national scholarship or fellowship should mark their calendars and begin planning for OC’s National Scholarships & Fellowships Committee deadline in September. You will be receiving an email with application details when the time comes!
Each application is limited to current OC students and includes a curriculum vitae, a 500-word personal statement, and a cover letter indicating why you should be OC’s nominee. The committee consists of the Honors Director, Faculty Liaison, and the Senior Vice-President for Academic Affairs.
Faculty advisors will work with you to apply for scholarships such as the J.W. Fulbright Scholarship, Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, Udall Scholarship, Rhodes Scholarship, etc.
Eligibility criteria for the International Scholarship:
- Open to all international students.
- Applicants must enroll in any traditional course of study at the university.
- Applicants must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- Applicants must demonstrate good academic achievements.
