An exceptional student who has been admitted to the MA Literary Translation program will receive funding through the Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship. Students with both domestic and international fees are eligible for the award. As their final dissertation/project, the scholar would have to translate a dramatic literary work from Russia that hasn’t been published in English yet. To help with living expenses and course fees, the scholarship will have a total value of £26,000 for one year (or two years if the student is enrolled part-time).
Eligibility for Ariadne Nicolaeff Scholarship:
- The award is available to students who have been accepted into the MA Literary Translation program.
- Students with both domestic and international fees are eligible for the award.
- There should be no additional donor-funded scholarships awarded to the student.
