For eligible new, first-time freshmen and transfer students seeking their first bachelor’s degree in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 who satisfy the precise requirements, the Invitation to Idaho is a tuition waiver.
Eligibility for Invitation to Idaho Scholarship:
- Applicant must be an overseas student or a resident of a state that is not part of WUE.
- Become a newly accepted freshman at the University of Idaho
- The student should be working towards their initial bachelor’s degree
- The student should possess an entry-level GPA of 3.0 or above.
- enroll full-time, requiring a minimum of 12 credits.
Application Method:
- The waiver for the Invitation to Idaho does not require a separate application. When you apply for admission to the institution, you are immediately qualified to get the waiver if you satisfy the conditions. Furthermore, there is no cutoff date for finishing the entrance application.
- The waiver is evaluable for first-year students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 from the University of Idaho for up to four years of undergraduate study.
- With a minimum University of Idaho GPA of 2.5, the scholarship is renewable for up to three more years for transfer students, contingent on the number of transfer credits.
