CNESST Scholarship In Labor Law And/or Occupational Health And Safety Law 2023 is offered for Masters, PhD degree in the field of Law.

Objective:

Scholarship intended for the writing or recruitment of a high-level student in the master’s program in law, essay or dissertation component, or in the doctoral program in law whose field of research is linked to one of the sectors covered by the CNESST’s mission, namely labor standards, occupational health and safety or pay equity.

Eligibility for the CNESST Scholarship In Labor Law And/or Occupational Health And Safety Law:

  • Applicants must have a new admission in winter or fall 2023 to the Master of Laws program, dissertation component, or Doctor of Law program at the Faculty, whose research subject is related to labor standards, health and safety work or even with pay equity.
  • Candidates must have full-time registration (12 credits) at the time of receiving the scholarship (fall 2023), or have recognition of this status according to Financial Aid for Studies.
  • If registering part-time (6 to 11 credits), people recognized as student parents under the terms of the Policy relating to student parents of Université Laval may be eligible for this competition.
  • Students should have an excellent academic record and receive support from your research director.


Documents required:

  • A description of the research project of no more than two pages
  • A description of the funding obtained for the study program
  • The research director’s evaluation form
  • A letter of recommendation from a referee (professor, employer)
  • Final transcripts of university studies (bachelor’s or master’s degree, depending on the program concerned)
  • A resume.
